Owned and operated by Western Port Ferries, the service connecting Stony Point and Cowes to French Island since July 1, 2017, Naturaliste Tours was born out of a desire to enhance the visitor experience while respecting the island's pristine environment. Extensive research and consultations with residents, community groups, Parks Victoria, and key tourism organisations culminated in the launch of Naturaliste Tours in December 2017.

Since then, Naturaliste Tours has been celebrated as a standout attraction, even earning a spot in Explore Australia’s itinerary alongside French Island and Phillip Island.
